Summary
A group of single parents are protesting against the soldier observation program. This program is designed to help soldiers who are having hard time during their mandatory military service. However after the shooting rampage which caused 5 victims last month, it was revealed that single parent children and children with poverty are put into group B of the program regardless of their sociality or mental health. The head of the single parent union claimed that this is clearly a violation of human rights and this will make people have prejudice against single parent children.
Persuasive
I think the soldier observation program itself has good intend, but putting soldiers from single parent and poverty into the program is wrong. People who are having hard time during the military service are normally introvert and shy, but just because you are from single parent family doesn't mean that you are going to have hard time. This is clearly violation of human rights. I used to serve military service as a KATUSA which is Korean Augmentation To US Army. I experienced both US Army and Korean Army and what I felt about Korean Army is way out of US Army not only in weapons but also in managing their soldiers. Korean Army officers treat soldiers as tools while US army officers treat soldiers as equal human beings. I think this has to be changed for Korean Army to go on to the next level.

2. Park Bom caught smuggling illegal drugs, but set free
Summary
It was revealed that Park Bom, a member of the K-pop idol group 2NE1, was caught smuggling illegal drugs into Korea but released without punishment four years ago. Local daily Segye reported that Park was caught at Incheon International Airport when she attempted to smuggle 82 amphetamine pills from the U.S into Korea in October 2010. But prosecutors suspended the drug-related criminal case without further investigation. Amphetamine is a medicine that speeds up the brain, and is often used for medical treatment. However in Korea, this drug is prohibited, even for medical use, as it can be harmful when abused.
Persuasive
There are many crimes committed by celebrities but this case is special because she was released without any punishment. People will think that if you are a celebrity , you won't get punished even if you commited crime. To make this right, first celebrities should act with caution because many people especially teenagers take celebrities as their role model. Next, when celebrities make mistakes like this case intensive investigation should be done and one should get the right punishment showing people that there is justice.

3. Kindergarten teacher stabbed, killed in front of students in France
Summary
A 34 year old kindergarten teacher was murdered in front of her students in a kindergarten in Albi in southwestern France. The suspect was known to be a mother of a child who attends the school. The victim name is Fabienne and had two children. Education Minister Benoit Hamon said that he will do the best to look after the children who witnessed the killing.
Persuasive
Not only Fabienne family and the kindergarden students but also the whole France were shocked about this sad incident. The first thing that French officials did was looking after the children who witnessed the killing. Many of them will suffer from the trauma. They should get mental treatment by counseling by professional counseler. In Korea, there was Sewol tragedy few monthes ago. However, the response of Korean officials was very poor. There was no survivor and still 11 people are missing. Early stage response is very important in these big incidents. I hope Korea Officials advance in the future. I also hope the victim's family and kindergarden students can go back to their normal life as soon as possible.
